Bidgee Hay

Stayed here multiple times with my Crew of 14. Not one complaint ever. Always friendly and more than accommodating for my crew. The girls are lovely and rooms are nice and clean. Always willing to go above and beyond for us. Will always stay here in the future.

Excellent overnight stay in a very comfortable motel

Room was very well presented. Owner was really friendly and assisted us with recommendations for dinner. Short walk to bistro and shops. Bed was very comfortable and linen was good quality. Would definitely recommend staying at this motel.

Great place for a stop over

Lovely country motel. Manager is friendly. The rooms are basic but comfortable and has everything you need. Bed comfortable. We had a room down the back and wasn’t troubled with road noise. It is close to shops and restaurants. Get little place for a stop over.

Three months in Hay

You will not find better hosts in Hay than Jo and Jackie at the Bidgee Motor Inn. They went above and beyond to make my stay there as comfortable and convenient as possible and I can't recommend the Bidgee Motor Inn highly enough. Thanks again Jackie and Jo!

Best in Hay

Extremely friendly staff and always go out of there way to help out. I always look forward to staying at the Bidgee. Great location in the centre of town. I have stayed in most of the motels in town and in my opinion best in town.

Hay Style

Our compact accommodation was extremely stylishly presented with a great deal of thought being given to the smallest details. The barbeque area was an extremely comfortable space offering a sitting area as well as a fully equipped barbeque.

Top Little Country Motel

Good little country motel, check in quick and friendly, good little room, comfy bed, great shower, full size fridge, free wifi, air-con, microwave, tele and a little table and chairs, thank you ladies for a pleasant experience, will return for sure. The motor inn is on the main thoroughfare of town but we didn't hear any traffic noise overnight.

Very friendly and welcoming

Well maintained older motel rooms, very clean and quiet. Reception and check in was very friendly. The solar hot water was really good and the pool was refreshing on a hot day. Well located right in the middle of town. We loved our stay and highly recommend this stop along the way.

Clean, neat and tidy with extras!

A small but excellent motel! Well appointed rooms with up-to-date fittings and fixtures. There is also an excellent under cover BBQ area with table, chairs and even a wood fired heater. The pool is small but clean. Staffed primarily by the owners, who are cheerful and efficient. Well worth a stay at reasonable prices.

Clean, comfortable and a welcoming stay

Very friendly staff who made the check in and out easy.
We were given a king size room which had been renovated and was very clean. Added touches of decoration made it a bit cozier and the bed was super comfortable.
Although the Motor Inn is situated on a main road we had no issues with road noise.
There was a communal kitchen that was well equipped and additional areas where you could sit and relax.
We would highly recommend this Motor Inn and would be happy to stay here again.

Comfortable motel with many little extras

From the street frontage this looks like a classic 1960's motel. There must be thousands out there.
However, this one is different. Our room had been renovated and updated. The bed was comfortable . The amenities in the room were exactly what you need in this style of accommodation. The staff were friendly and obliging. There were the thoughtful little extras placed outside the room - a bucket with a squeegee to clean the windscreen.
Being in the main street of Hay we were concerned about traffic noise. We didn't need to worry. The room was quiet and we enjoyed an uninterrupted nights sleep.
Overall, an excellent stay at a comfortable and well managed motel. Price value was excellent.
